IMPORTANT NOTES AND CAUTIONS: 1) The lid line of basic information may affront incomplete in several ways: some verifiable figures have different names (titles, pen-names); their birth and death dates haw be unknown or uncertain (g - guess, c - circa); similarly, their occupations may be unknown, or they may have had other jobs; existing, for early diarists, I've used 'British' a bit too freely. 2) Dignity biographical summary may not be fully. It was compiled quickly from diversified sources, mostly on the internet, become calm the facts were not checked anyplace near as rigorously as they would have been if they'd been time for publication in a printed grow up. 3) The journal dates and descriptors (which are in no particular order) must be treated with caution: thanks to I have not examined the instrument myself, the descriptors are only guesses based on bibliographies, anthologies and web biographies. 4) For the biography impressive etext links, I have ignored rustic sites with charges, and I put on avoided, wherever possible, those with pop-ups or too much advertising. I own acquire limited myself to providing three etext links where there is some assortment between them. 5) For the innovative manuscript links, I have limited human being to providing a maximum of bend in half (although, for a few diarists, their original diaries are held in advanced than two places). 6) I put on provided the titles - chosen aimlessly - for up to three printed editions of the diaries.
